In order for us to provide a service to you we require you to register with Crimecheck.co.uk. Please email us as below. This procedure is necessary for us to comply with the DBS code of practice. We will normally respond within 4 hours and a maximum of 24 hours (Monday to Friday). On receipt of your application we will check your organisations identity. We may ask for additional information or clarification - this is quite normal. Following approval we will send you a copy of our formal agreement detailing our terms and conditions and policies which we will ask you to agree to and sign. We will also provide further information on how to obtain disclosure forms and arrange for disclosure checks to be carried out. No charges will be made until you request a disclosure.We are only able to carry out a disclosure on an applicant on behalf of an organisation for whom the applicant is working or intending to work, on a paid or voluntary basis. We cannot provide a disclosure for a self-employed person. In this case you must ask the organisation for whom you intend to work to make the application as your employer. We can only carry out disclosures on persons who will be employed/volunteer in an ‘Excepted Profession’.

Please note - Do not apply if you are an individual - we cannot assist you in providing a disclosure on yourself. This must be done by your employer or organisation for whom you are working/volunteering. We can only carry out disclosures on persons who will be employed/volunteer in an ‘Excepted Profession’. If you are self-employed you can approach your local Police force and request ‘Subject Access’. Under current legislation, individuals can exercise their rights to apply for access to information held on them including criminal record information under ‘Subject Access’ provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.
